CEW 5K FUN RUN

SUNDAY OCTOBER 4 | 08:00

OUTSIDE THE DELTA

Come see the South Saskatchewan river valley while stretching your legs before the workshop! Join us for a 5 km fun run starting and ending at the Delta Hotel by Marriott on the Sunday at 8 am.  We will meet in front of the hotel and run the along the river over multiple bridges enjoying the view. There is an option to grab a coffee and treat after the run at the nearby Pique café. Participation is free, with optional Fun Run t-shirts available for purchase.

WANUSKEWIN HERITAGE PARK

TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FROM THE DELTA

Join us for an unforgettable excursion to Wanuskewin Heritage Park, a National Historic Site overlooking the Opimihāw Creek and South Saskatchewan River. For thousands of years, this land has been a gathering place for the Indigenous Peoples of the Northern Plains, and today it offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore their rich history, culture, and enduring connection to the land. Through engaging exhibits, scenic trails, archaeological sites, and the return of the plains bison, Wanuskewin provides an inspiring and meaningful experience for all who attend. A fee of $30 includes admission and round-trip transportation from the Delta Hotels by Marriott, with departure at 10:00 a.m. and return at 1:00 p.m.

REMAI MODERN ART GALLERY

REMAI MODERN

The Remai Modern in Saskatoon is home to one of the largest Pablo Picasso collections in the world comprised of over 400 linocuts and 23 ceramics. The museum features more than 8,000 artworks in both modern and contemporary styles from a variety of artists including those from right here in Saskatchewan. Come take a guided tour and see for yourself! We will meet our guide at the Cameco Play area at 2 pm on Sunday for a 45 min tour. Admission to Remai Modern is by donation.
